has been a thing to behold
form the time you learned
you were entitled to it
That you were entitled
to feel it.
But that anger
that righteous anger
while beautiful
is ineffective.
It motivates.(?)
it burns.
it blinds (sometimes)
It is used
against you (us)
The target of your anger
Has been here before
Has done this before
Is doing—!
this now.

You are made angry
driven to distraction
as they watch
with thin lipped smiles
and cold eyes that have never known (shown)
love.
Your anger is fed upon
so that logic is starved.
and it works
time and time
again.
